Digital Motion X-ray (DMX) captures real-time video X-rays of your spine or joints while you move. Unlike static MRI, CT, or regular X-rays that only show one frozen moment, DMX reveals excessive motion (instability) that often causes chronic pain, headaches, or dizziness.

Per AMA Guidelines (6th Edition), instability is defined as >3.5 mm of abnormal movement during motion.

WHAT IS A DMX?

Digital Motion X-ray (DMX) is a low-radiation X-ray technology that captures normal, weight-bearing movements on video. DMX often unveils injuries that are missed or insufficiently diagnosed by static imaging such as MRIs, CT scans, and X-rays.

Unlike traditional static radiographs, DMX captures dynamic images throughout the entire range of motion – helping prove instability where others see "nothing wrong."
