With more insurance providers covering less than our service fees, our facility does not bill insurance. However, you may be eligible for partial to full reimbursement from your health insurance company by submitting a claim!

Many patients report getting at least a few hundred dollars and some have reported receiving the entire amount. 

In general, situations other than personal injury/ auto accident cases, the patient pays out of pocket and then they seek reimbursement from their insurance providers. 

Maximize Your Reimbursement by Submitting Your Claim
We've discovered patients often receive higher reimbursements from their health insurance providers when they personally submit their DMX claim. For this reason we do not submit health insurance claims on your behalf.

Patients have found success with various health insurance carries, including health sharing companies like Christian Health Care Ministries. Additionally, traditional insurance providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, and state insurance programs have yielded positive outcomes. In fact, Devoted Health fully reimbursed one of our patients.

Some companies only reimburse a few hundred while others will cover the entire amount. We encourage you to reach out to your provider and request how much they would cover, so you can get an idea of how much.

Rest assured, we provide all necessary statements and information to you to help facilitate your reimbursement process if your insurance covers DMX.

For med pay and injury cases, we do bill auto insurance directly. We also accept HSA/FSA cards for payment.

Guidelines for Submitting Claims to Your Insurance
To ensure smooth processing of your claim, please follow these guidelines:

1. Reach out to your provider and request information on if they cover DMX and how much they would cover. 
2. Provide accurate and complete information: Make sure all details on your claim form are accurate and up-to-date.
3. Include all necessary documentation: Attach any supporting documents, such as medical reports or invoices, to strengthen your claim.
4. Submit claims promptly: To avoid delays, submit your claim as soon as possible after receiving treatment.
5. Follow up with your insurance provider: Keep track of your claim's progress and promptly respond to any requests for additional information from your insurance provider.

DMX is the only form of medical imaging that can capture the body in normal weight-bearing active motion. The price of a DMX is similar to the cost of other specialized imaging. The national average for a Digital Motion X-ray ranges from $1,250-$1,450. 

At Arizona Digital Motion X-ray, we firmly believe the mensuration report including your instability measurements serves as an essential companion to your cervical spine DMX video. A mensuration report is typically priced at an additional $350-$450. Our price includes your 7-view Digital Motion X-ray and the mensuration report. ​

​The national average for a cervical spine MRI is between $1400-$7600. Some patients have reported getting 5-10 MRIs before finding us. We want to help you avoid all the unnecessary medical procedures and imaging that are costing you more money in the long run. 

​We now offer the ability to pay via credit card, HSA/ FSA cards, and have personalized payment plans to make it easier to afford this important medical service.

Payment Plans

We have plans that allow you to pay less than half the cost up front and make smaller monthly payments via Credit Card.  Those using these plans will not qualify for the time of service or cash discounts, but there are no interest fees or prepayment penalties on our payment plans.

​All payment plans require at least a 20% down payment at the time of service of $280. Below is an example of a plan option with a different down payment. Depending on the amount placed as a down payment, your monthly payments will change.
